Highbury Townhouse.

The brief for the Highbury Townhouse was to maximise the potential of their new property in terms of adding extra floor space and create a contemporary but warm family home. We achieved this by adding a rear extension, mansard loft and outrigger to the the original building which added around 35% more floor space. Externally we used dark anthracite zinc to give it a contemporary look while internally we opened up the front reception and kitchen space by creating a large opening in the wall connecting the front and the back of then house. We also installed three large roof lights to provide extra light into the large open plan space. Micro cement was utilised on both the walls and the floor in the kitchen and then we introduced a bespoke colourful kitchen to act as a focal point. The outrigger was made into a stunning study and the loft as a spare bedroom and ensuite. The neighbours liked it so much we are now building theres!
