Pimlico Townhouse, Grade II Listed

We we commissioned by the owners on a design and build basis to completely renovate their Grade II listed building. The building itself had not been touched since the early 1900s and so the brief was to fully modernise the property without losing the integrity or the soul of the building. Lowell were successful at planning in getting a small extension agreed at the lower ground floor and turned this area in to a separate living space for the the live in nanny, installing stunning crittal patio doors opening up the lower ground floor to the back garden. We also were successful in getting planners to agree to moving the main kitchen on to the first floor which our client wanted so that they could entertain there and enjoy the stunning high ceilings. As a Grade II listed property much of the refurbishment was spent on bringing back the historical features to their formal glory, replicating all of the original cornicing and restoring all of the stunning old woodwork.
